    Trading Update – Board Change

    Sopheon plc, the international provider of software and services for complete Enterprise Innovation Performance solutions, is pleased to announce a trading update for the Group’s performance in 2015.

    In our interim report issued in August 2015, we highlighted a positive shift in the momentum of the business and we are pleased to report that this translated into strong performance for the second half of the year. As a consequence, we expect that reported revenues for the year ended 31 December 2015 will be comfortably in line with current market expectations, and that EBITDA and pre-tax profits will exceed current market expectations.

    Financial expectations noted above are subject to the completion of year-end financial close and audit processes. Sopheon intends to issue its results for the year ended 31 December 2015 on 17 March 2016.

    Finally and with much sadness, we also announce that Dr. Bernard Al, a non-executive director, passed away over the holiday period. Bernard served on the Sopheon board from 2001, and made an important contribution to guiding the Company’s development during that time. He will be greatly missed, and the board offers its sincerest condolences to his family.

    Sopheon Says Still On Right Path As Results Set To Beat Forecasts

    LONDON (Alliance News) - Sopheon PLC Thursday said its full year earnings will be ahead of current market expectations as the positive shift in momentum of the business continued in the second half of the year.

    The software provider said full year revenue was set to "comfortably" hit expectations whilst pretax profit and earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation are set to come in higher than forecast.

    The news confirms the company's outlook ported back in August, when it said it was on the "right path" moving forward despite reporting a fall in revenue as a result of fewer licence orders in the first half of 2015.

    At that time, Sopheon said its revenue visibility for 2015 stood at almost USD15 million, compared to USD12.5 million at the time of its annual general meeting in June.

    Sopheon also noted Non-Executive Director Bernard Al, who joined the company back in 2001, died over the festive period, offering its condolences and recognising the "important contribution" he made to the company's development.

    En ja hoor Bartus is er weer :)
    Mensen voor u ook maar een seconde overweegt geld in dit kansenaandeel te stoppen: lees alle postings van een paar jaar geleden a.u.b. dat kan u veel geld schelen.

    Hendrik, bedankt voor dit welgemeende advies. Al zo vaak in overweging genomen maar helaas, enige hardnekkigheid is mij ook niet onbekend.
    We blijven voorlopig mog wel wat doormodderen........ inderdaad het was, is en blijft hopenlijk een kansenaandeel.

    Een duo?
    ZUCHT, de man is waarsch. weer voorwaardelijk vrij!
    De schade die hij in de loop der jaren heeft aangericht bij argeloze beleggers is m.i. aanzienlijk.
    Vandaar mijn waarschuwing, en alleen maar mijn twee centen....

    Die zullen wederom tegenvallen, tenminste als je van de standaard uit gaat.
    En omdat ik hardnekkig ben, blijf ik optimistisch (wat rest ons anders?).

    Dussss... ik denk dat de omzet flink is toegenomen maar niet > dan 22 miljoen (dollars). Reden is dat men in juni(in Londen bij de AVA) de verwachting uitsprak
    niet voor 2017 grote aantallen te gaan verkopen m.n. voor Accolade light en derhalve nog niet structureel boven de 20 miljoen aan omzet uit te komen.

    Waar die verwachting dan vandaan komt heeft men mij niet duidelijk kunnen en willen maken.

    Ik verwacht derhalve (nog) geen vuurwerk.
