   VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - June 9, 2010) - Sabina Gold & Silver Corp. (TSX:SBB) announced today additional drill hole results on the new Llama Lake discovery on its 100% owned Back River project in Nunavut, Canada.
   
   In approximately five months of field work in 2009 and 2010, Sabina has made two new gold discoveries very close to the Goose deposit area at Back River: the Echo Zone reported last summer (best hole 09GSE26 returning 8.17 g/t gold over 15.15 meters including 9 g/t gold over 13.20 meters); and the exciting Llama Lake Zone this year (best hole 10GSE41 returning 25.43 g/t gold over 20 meters including 31.55 g/t gold over 16 meters).
   
   Llama Lake is a very significant discovery in light of the Company's plans for the project going forward and further demonstrates the excellent potential for new gold discoveries at Back River.

   Sabina heeft door de permanente goednieuws-show het erg goed gedaan. Toch is het aandeel nog niet erg duur. Het zilverproject is echter nog ver van productie af, althans dat leek mij toen ik er enkele maanden geleden weer eens naar keek.
   
   Rond Bear Creek Mining is het wat stiller gebleven, daardoor is die nog wat goedkoper op de huidige koers dan Sabina. Daar zou productie eerder van de grond kunnen komen, hetgeen de koers positief kan beinvloeden. Ik zie ze beiden als een aardige lange-termijnbelegging.

   Ik volg Sabina ook al een tijdje. Het ziet er veelbelovend uit. Er moet de nodige infrastructuur worden aangelegd. De aankoop van de Back River assets was een goede zet. Het kan waarschijnlijk infrastructuur delen met Hacket River. Sabina zit ook in de modelportefeuille die ik bij hou op mijn site.

    VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Jan. 27, 2011) - Sabina Gold & Silver Corp. (TSX:SBB) is pleased to announce the results of the first of a two phase drilling program that began last fall on its 50% owned Newman-Madsen property in the prolific Red Lake gold district of Ontario, Canada.
    
    Newman-Madsen is one of the Company's early stage exploration projects in Ontario and is held in a 50/50 joint venture with Premier Gold Mines with Sabina as the operator. Initial Newman-Madsen work has been organized into a two phase $1.09 million drilling program with 50% of the cost borne each by Sabina and Premier.
    
    Phase 1 consisted of four holes totalling 3,183 metres of drilling to test the north eastern extension of the Madsen Mine stratigraphy at levels significantly deeper than previously explored.
    
    Drilling was successful in intersecting the targeted stratigraphy and delineating a highly prospective area of hydrothermal alteration where significant gold values including a high-grade intercept of 43.51g/t over 0.65 meters were encountered.
    
    The intercept is interpreted to demonstrate the potential for the Newman-Madsen property to host significant mineralization consistent with the recognized horizons hosting the Madsen Mine (greater than 2.4 million ounces) located immediately to the Southwest.

(TSX:SBB) is pleased to outline the objectives of its 2011exploration program and budget for its Nunavut projects. The Goose Camp is now open and being provisioned with drilling scheduled to commence in the next few weeks, approximately six weeks earlier than 2010. By the middle of March, six core drills will be operating at the Goose property with an additional two running at Hackett River by quarter end.

    Mooie hoeveelheid zilver in een politiek veilig gebied, en ook een veelbelovende goudvoorraad. De fantasie zit natuurlijk in de goudontdekking, is echter nog pas in een beginfase, zo lijkt het.Beurswaarde is echter ook behoorlijk opgelopen, en loopt vooruit op nieuwe boringen.

    In antwoord op mijn eigen vraag: Sabina heeft 265 milj. ounces zilver en 2,9 milj. ounces goud. Bij een goud/zilverratio van 35 is dat 10,5 milj. ounces goud. Een beurswaarde van 1,2 milj. is dan niet echt goedkoop, maar de fantasie zit in de goudontdekking, die veel en veel groter kan gaan worden. We staan m.i. pas aan het begin daarvan.
    Conclusie: iets winst nemen kan geen kwaad, maar wel grote positie houden.

    Voor RVC,Richfield werd: 550 miljoen betaald,voor 3.8 miljoen OZ Gold,dat is dus 145 $ /OZ gold.
    
    okee, weekje later na dat bod was die 3.8 miljoen 4.2,geworden.....

    De verkoop van Hackett River(het zilver) aan Xstrata voor 50 milj. en een royalty van 22,5% over de eerste 190 miljoen ounces zilver en over het meerdere 12,5% lijkt me wel een aardige deal. Zonder verder iets te hoeven doen, of investeren, krijgt Sabina een toekomstige inkomstenbron, die aanzienlijk is. Bruto meer dan 1,5 miljard bij huidige prijzen, uitgaande van slechts 190 milj. ounces. Verder heeft men zelf al meer dan 4 milj. ounces goud in de grond, hetgeen snel meer zal worden. Ik denk dat dit alles wel een bodem onder de koers gaat leggen, en dat er kansen liggen bij uitbreiding van het aantal ounces.
