    Ja ik weet het elk mensenleven dat valt in de oorlog is 1 teveel.
    En toch het aantal doden, vermisten en gewonden in de oorlog in Oekraine na 8 maanden bij beide partijen beperkt ten opzichte van WW1.
    Bijvoorbeeld op 1 juli 1916 vielen er aan de Somme in 1 dag aan Britse zijde 60.000 doden,vermisten en gewonden.
    Een frontlinie van 48 km.
    Na 140 dagen aan beide zijden meer dan 1 miljoen slachtoffers.
