    Het zijn extreme tijden. Maar wat te denken van Georgië in de EU?
    Bij Ukraine hadden we een "Oekraïne-referendum". Gaat de politiek/het volk nog wat zeggen over Georgië? Je kunt toch uittekenen dat het daar ook uit de hand gaat lopen (zoals nu..)?

    Ollongren: Russische desinformatie bij Oekraïne-referendum

    Rond het referendum over Oekraïne is vanuit Rusland geprobeerd met desinformatie de Nederlandse politieke opinie te beïnvloeden. Dat schrijft minister Ollongren van Binnenlandse Zaken aan de Tweede Kamer.

    Ze noemt als voorbeeld een video op internet met vermeende leden van een militante Oekraïense groepering die de Nederlandse vlag verbrandden en dreigden met terroristische aanslagen als Nederlandse kiezers niet voor het Associatieverdrag tussen de EU en Oekraïne zouden stemmen.

    PARASOL trench electronic warfare system developed in Ukraine

    Ukrainian experts have developed a PARASOL trench electronic warfare system.

    Mykhailo Fedorov, Minister of Digital Transformation, reported that a participant in the Brave1 cluster presented the EW system.
    The developer created two modifications of the system: one protects positions against Russian drones, and the other protects the equipment.

    “One of the key advantages of PARASOL is that it is invisible to enemy EW systems,” Mykhailo Fedorov shared.
    The first version, PARASOL 01, protects military positions and jams Russian FPV drones at a distance of 200 meters.

    WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Russian President Vladimir Putin sees domestic and international developments trending in his favor and likely will press aggressive tactics in Ukraine, but the war is unlikely to end anytime soon, the top U.S. intelligence official said on Thursday.

    Director of National Intelligence Avril Haines told the Senate Armed Services Committee that Russia has intensified strikes on Ukraine's infrastructure to hamper Kyiv's ability to move arms and troops, slow defense production and force it to consider negotiations.

    "Putin's increasingly aggressive tactics against Ukraine, such as strikes on Ukraine's electricity infrastructure, are intended to impress Ukraine that continuing to fight will only increase the damage to Ukraine and offer no plausible path to victory," she said.

    Ukraine ‘pleads for gas masks’ as Russia accused of using banned chemical agents

    Ukrainians are “crying out for gas masks” as Russia steps up its use of banned chemical weapons to dislodge Kyiv’s troops and make tactical gains on the battlefield, according to a UK commander.

    The US State Department has accused Russia of using chloropicrin, a choking agent, and riot control agents, or tear gas, in violation of the Chemical Weapons Convention (CWC).

    Colonel Hamish de Bretton-Gordon, a former commander of UK and Nato CBRN (chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear) Forces, said Russia’s use of proscribed chemical warfare agents was having a profound effect on the battlefield.

    “They’re designed to incapacitate people, but how the Russians are using them is pretty cynical … they’re firing them into the trenches – and a lot, I mean thousands of times,” he told i.

    “And because the Ukrainian soldiers either don’t have gas masks or have old Soviet gas masks, which are rubbish and don’t work against these agents, they’re having to flee their trenches and the Russians then attack them conventionally.

    “It’s hugely effective, and it’s illegal.”

    Reports suggest chemicals known as CS and CN, forms of tear gas, have been used in the Ukraine conflict.

    Russian army loses over 20,000 soldiers just in East in April

    Ukrainian defenders managed to eliminate over 20,000 Russian soldiers in April. Additionally, a large quantity of equipment was destroyed, according to data from the operational-strategic grouping of forces Khortytsia.

    Ah een belletje opwerpen. Politici denken slechts na over hun eigen overleven, meestal aan het thuisfront.
    Putin is sowieso een idioot die zijn hand overspeeld heeft, met teveel vertrouwen in het gammele russische leger.
    Oekraine wordt nu gebruikt door usa en eu om Rusland voor de komende decennia ondergeschikt te houden met een soort van nazi-schuldgevoel. Rusland gaat hier, terecht, hopelijk erg duur voor betalen.
    Zoals ook een volk als de palestijnen ;-) al is dat meer gecompliceerd.
    Maar niet doen alsof een Macton veel nadenkt , buiten overleven tussen de mensen die het echt voor het zeggen hebben.

    Russisch staatsgasbedrijf Gazprom maakt voor het eerst in 25 jaar verlies

    Gazprom heeft vorig jaar voor het eerst sinds 1999 een verlies geleden. Na de grootschalige inval van Rusland in Oekraïne verkocht het Russische staatsgasbedrijf steeds minder gas aan Europa, waarmee een lucratieve exportmarkt is weggevallen.

    Wat een idioot gedoe om hier elke dag zulke berichten te plaatsen.
    Uiteraard totaal onbetrouwbare gegevens.
    Vanaf Russische zijde is ook vast dagelijks eenzelfde bericht gepubliceerd met ook daar onbetrouwbare gegevens.
    Wat heeft zoiets nou voor zin?
    Of zijn er hier lezers die smullen van dergelijke onzin berichten?
