   BAM Nuttall awarded new Aberdeenshire station contract

   Network Rail has appointed BAM Nuttall as the main contractor for the construction of the new Kintore station.
   
   The £14.5 million station will reconnect Kintore to the rail network for the first time in 56 years.
   
   Funded by Transport Scotland, Aberdeenshire Council and Nestrans, the new station will have step-free access between platforms through a footbridge with lifts.
   
   Providing an interchange between rail and road, the station will have around 170 car parking spaces, bike storage and connect into the local bus network.
   
   The station will be constructed over the next 12 months and is due to enter service in May 2020. All Aberdeen-Inverness trains will call at the station.
   
   The original Kintore station opened in 1854, but closed in 1964 as part of the Beeching cuts.
   
   Reopening Kintore has been made possible by the double-tracking of the line between Aberdeen-Inverurie delivered as part of the Aberdeen-Inverness Improvement Project.
   
   Michael Matheson, cabinet secretary for transport, infrastructure and connectivity, said: “This Scottish Government is committed to improving rail links across the country and this latest contract award is a milestone in doing so for people in the North East of Scotland.
   
   “Our continued rail investment is providing new infrastructure, improved rolling stock, increased capacity and the enhanced timetables to deliver more services on the Aberdeen to Inverness route. This will make rail a more attractive travel choice, helping encourage more people out of their cars and onto trains.”
   
   Peter Argyle, chair of Aberdeenshire Council’s infrastructure services committee and chair of regional transport partnership Nestrans, said: “Aberdeenshire Council and Nestrans have worked closely with Transport Scotland and the rail industry to secure this key investment in our regional transport infrastructure. We are pleased to see this important milestone reached, in order to secure the long waited for benefits for the community of Kintore and surrounding area.”
   
   Graeme Stewart, Network Rail senior sponsor, added: “The new Kintore station will reconnect the local community to the rail network for the first time in nearly six decades.
   
   “BAM Nuttall, as the main contractor on the Aberdeen-Inverness Improvement Project, is perfectly placed to deliver this new facility and we look forward to working closely with them to complete the work as quickly as possible.”

   Bunnik, the Netherlands, 4 April 2019 - The Pulse consortium, comprising BAM PPP PGGM, Pacific Partnerships, Ghella, DIF, BAM International, CPB Contractors, Ghella Investments and Partnerships, and UGL, has been selected by the Cross River Rail Delivery Authority (CRRDA) as the preferred proponent to deliver the Tunnel, Stations and Development (TSD) package of Brisbane’s Cross River Rail Project.
   
   BAM PPP PGGM along with Pacific Partnerships, Ghella Investments and Partnerships and DIF will provide equity funding to the project. BAM International will deliver the design and construction in a joint venture with CPB Contractors and Ghella Pty Ltd. UGL will provide maintenance services for 24 years.
   
   The $5.4 billion (€3.4 billion) Cross River Rail project includes design and construction of a 10.2 km rail line from Dutton Park to Bowen Hills including a 5.9 km twin tunnel under the Brisbane River and the Central Business District (CBD). The TSD package includes tunnelling works and new underground stations.
   
   By delivering a second river crossing as well as two new CBD stations, the Cross River Rail project unlocks existing bottlenecks into the CBD, allowing more trains to run more often and enabling a turn-up-and-go public transport system across the entire region. By integrating with roads and bus services the project enables easily accessible transport system for the whole of South East Queensland.

   Mooi Ed ! De koers zal hier naar alle waarschijnlijkheid niet op reageren; zelfs gisteren was de reactie al matig op de 2 contracten van 1 miljard en 5,4 miljard waar BAM aan meedoet.

    Uit de wekelijkse TA analyse van Nico Bakker:
    
    BAM
    Na de breakout tot 4,38 volgde een pullback die thans kan opdrogen op
    de 38,2% Fibo retracement op 3,58. Charttechnisch daar bodemen is een sterke actie van de bulls. De uptrend kan daarna redelijk snel worden hervat met een hernieuwde actiebeweging richting 4,38. De indicatoren staan niet allemaal in de plus, dus de UP status is nog niet terug. Er is dus een kans dat een diepere correctie naar 3,33 zich voordoet. Hoe het ook zij, de terugkeer van de bulls lijkt aanstaande.

    Spreken is zilver, maar zwijgen is bijna diamant zo langzamerhand. Zwijgen omdat men zich murw heeft gebeukt tegen een plank voor een kop, die niet van hout blijkt te zijn maar van driedubbel gewapend beton.

TA, daar moet je in geloven of niet...het is geen "voorspellen", met als eindresultaat een absoluut resultaat. Obv van TA kun je uitspraken doen obv het verleden obv een paar aspecten. Maar die ga ik hier niet noemen....genoeg info over TA te vinden op Internet. TA kijkt dus niet naar de fundamenten....dat is het terrein van FA.

    The decision of the political parties comes against the background of the German plan approval of the Fehmarnbelt tunnel, Femern A/S received in December 2018. The plan approval may be brought before the German Federal Administrative Court, but the legal proceedings will not affect thee construction works in Denmark.
    
    The construction works on the Danish side are expected to begin in the fall of 2019

    Helemaal juist Next. TA is een analyse van hoe het o.b.v. het verleden gaat. Ik maak er graag gebruik van zoals bv. de stand van de RSI om te zien of een aandeel overbought of oversold is. Het kan net dat zetje zijn om te handelen.
