An “electronic horizon” with HD map data complements the sensor data, increasing the richness, robustness, and range of the environmental model. TomTom and Elektrobit bring up-to-date HD map data to in-vehicle ADAS and AD functions, translating this data into actionable insights.

Gezien het feit dat Autonomous driving en ADAS inmiddels de hype voorbij zijn en TomTom er (verwacht ik) ook vaker zelf het nieuws over zal opzoeken. Morgen dus een webinar met partner Elektrobit (klanten: "Audi, BMW, Daimler, Ford, GM, Volkswagen Group, Volvo, and more") en deze week ergens ook een event met nVidia.
