    Nokia Conversations Becomes The Only Official Blog Of Nokia

    Nokia Conversations is the Nokia’s official blog, and is one of the largest corporate blogs in the world. It has around one million visitors a month. In an effort to unify its social media strategy, Nokia combined its official blog into one single place. Nokia Conversations blog now holds the Nokia Connects and Nokia Location blogs as well.

    Met Verizon erbij..klinkt in elk geval goed...hiermee worden hun kansen in de US vergroot. Ben benieuwd wanneer ze W8 phones in Europa zullen verkopen

    Deel uit artikel Bloomberg over het goedkopere segment waar Nokia (nog) groot is:

    ‘Myopic Focus’
    Nokia’s share of the basic-phone market rose to 35 percent last quarter from 29 percent a year earlier. In smartphones, the fastest-growing and most valuable market segment, Nokia, the former leader, has slumped to less than 10 percent.

    “People forget how significant it is that we’re selling a million phones a day,” Peter Skillman, head of mobile-phone design at Nokia, said in an interview. “There’s almost a myopic focus on smartphones.”

    Net wat stukjes Lbi verkocht en wat Nokia bijgekocht. Brengt wel mijn gemiddelde pittig omhoog maar ik denk dat we nog een hele mooie rit gaan maken het komende jaar.
