    Introduction: Pharming Group N.V. develops innovative protein therapeutics for the treatment of genetic disorders. The company is poised for further scientific, technological and new product development and additional commercial roll-outs. The company is small (approx. 180 employees, based internationally) and growing quickly. As a result of this growth, we are looking for a:

    Director Manufacturing

    Overall purpose of the job: Overall responsibility and accountability for the manufacturing department including manufacturing development across the whole company which include people and budgetary management. In this role you are strategically responsible for current manufacturing process and for developing and implementing new manufacturing processes and/or products. You work closely with internal and external key stakeholders. You are responsible for developing, building, managing and directing the manufacturing department. The manufacturing department is part of the technical operations department and you will report to the director of technical operations.

    Main duties and responsibilities: • Strategically responsible for current manufacturing processes and for implementing new manufacturing processes and tech transfers • Develop and build up manufacturing department including recruiting and selecting new employees • Provide structure, direction and purpose to the team • Provide leadership to help people perform at their best, through motivating and developing them to achieve high performance • Manage the department within technical operations and initiate and realize improvement processes to maximize efficiency and output of people and processes. • Manage quality, efficiency and costs with key internal partners in RA, supply chain, QA, QC, Finance, Purchasing and R&D • Strategically responsible for control for CMOs for current production, identify new CMOs and expand in-house DSP manufacturing • Set up and control of departmental budget • Life cycle management on manufacturing of drug product including line extensions of current marketed formulations

    Qualifications: • An academic degree in life science; 10-15 years of experience in dynamic and innovative biomanufacturing environment • Leader with experience in building successful teams

    • Elaborate knowledge in development, tech transfer and/or manufacturing of (bio)pharmaceuticals in clinical and commercial environment. • Experience in GxP regulations • Elaborate experience in CMO management, contract & price negotiations and affiliated matters • Elaborate experience with in-house production and associated challenges
    Skills: • Organizational, communication, time management and problem-solving skills • Team player with energetic and enthusiastic personality • Fluent Dutch and English (written and spoken) • Flexible, proactive, decisive and listening skills • Contract management (outsourcing)

    Moet ik over de winst met handel in aandelen ook inkomstenbelasting betalen?
    Verlies is namelijk niet belastingaftrekbaar.... toch?
