    Onbegrijpelijk dat men na al dat goede nieuws over de afgelopen maanden die stukken op deze koersen de deur uit doet. Maar het is niet anders. Geduldig blijven maar.

    Immutep Achieves 50% Enrolment Milestone in Randomised Phase IIb
    TACTI-003 Trial for First Line Head & Neck Cancer

    Immutep has enrolled and randomised over 50% of the planned 154 patients in the TACTI-003 Phase IIb trial.

    TACTI-003 is evaluating Immutep’s first-in-class soluble LAG-3 protein eftilagimod alpha (“efti”), in combination with MSD’s anti-PD-1 therapy KEYTRUDA® (pembrolizumab) as 1st line treatment of recurrent or metastatic head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (1L HNSCC).

    Opnieuw een positief bericht.
    Ik ben inmiddels voorzichtiger geworden met de koersverwachtingen op kt…1 dag omhoog en daarna weer down.

    Voor de lt….Marc en medewerkers zijn goed bezig….dat gaat een keer beloond worden.

    Immutep Limited heeft aangekondigd dat de INSIGHT-003 studie, die op initiatief van de onderzoekers is gestart, de doelstelling van 20 patiënten met 1L NSCLC heeft bereikt. INSIGHT-003 is de eerste studie waarin de belangrijkste productkandidaat van Immutep, eftilagimod alfa (oeftio of oIMP321o), wordt geëvalueerd als onderdeel van een drievoudige combinatietherapie met standaard anti-PD-1-therapie en chemotherapie. In een poster gepresenteerd op de Society for Immunotherapy of Cancer (SITC) Annual Meeting 2022, tonen de eerste resultaten bij 1L NSCLC-patiënten aan dat de drievoudige combinatietherapie goed wordt verdragen en veelbelovende vroege signalen van therapeutische activiteit geeft met een Objective Response Rate (ORR) van 72,7% (8/11) en een Disease Control Rate (DCR) van 90,9% (10/11).

    Negen patiënten hadden een PD-L1 Tumor Proportion Score (TPS) van < 50% en deze groep rapporteerde een bemoedigende ORR van 66,7% en DCR van 88,9%. Patiënten met een PD-L1 van < 50% vertegenwoordigen ongeveer tweederde van de 1L NSCLC-patiëntenpopulatie en reageren minder goed op anti-PD-1 therapie dan patiënten met een PD-L1 TPS van =50%. Aanvullende gegevens van INSIGHT-003 zullen naar verwachting in de loop van het kalenderjaar 2023 worden gepresenteerd.

    Immutep Announces Initiation of Phase II/III Trial for
    Eftilagimod Alpha plus Paclitaxel in Metastatic Breast Cancer

    Immutep today announced the initiation of AIPAC-003 (Active Immunotherapy, Eftilagimod Alpha, and PAClitaxel), an integrated Phase II/III trial to evaluate eftilagimod alpha (“efti”) in combination with paclitaxel for the treatment of metastatic HER2-neg/low breast cancer (MBC). Regulatory approval has been received in the US and Institutional Review Board (IRB) approval has been received in Spain, with approvals in additional countries anticipated to follow shortly. The first patient is expected to be enrolled in early Q2 CY2023.

    Highlights include:
    Integrated Phase II/III trial design incorporates feedback from the FDA and EMA and will help inform a BLA and MAA
    HR+/HER2-neg/low metastatic breast cancer (MBC) patient population has been expanded to include triple-negative breast cancer, which together account for ~78% of breast cancer cases
    Approval for study start received in US and IRB approval in Spain, with more countries to follow shortly
    First patient expected to be enrolled in early Q2 CY2023
    As a first-in-class APC activator, efti is well positioned to enhance standard-of-care chemotherapy in MBC

    Dat is nieuws van vorige week. De koers deed er helaas weer weinig op.
