   Power of AGRESSO wins £500,000 contract with nuclear engineers Bristol, England - March 13, 2002 Agresso, a leading supplier of business information systems, has won a £500,000 contract with NNC Limited, the UK’s premier nuclear services provider. NNC will implement AGRESSO Business World’s financials and project modules, going live in April 2002. NNC is a successful company and is expanding rapidly both in size and geographically and wanted to streamline its business processes. To do this it required a single system to provide it with integrated management information. AGRESSO Business World will replace four disparate legacy systems and won the contract in competition with Ramesys, Mentor and Weir Systems. Paul Kershaw, NNC’s chief executive, said: “NNC is expanding rapidly in the UK and the rest of the world. We chose AGRESSO because it is a proven application and has the scalability we need to achieve our business objectives.” Phil Lanigan, finance director and sponsor of the implementation project, added: “At this stage of our expansion, good management information and effective tools to manage cash are vital. AGRESSO will give us the visibility and control of our business operations we need.” This latest contract is further evidence of Agresso’s tightening grip on the so-called PSA market, supplying business systems to professional services organisations. The company was recently described by analysts Aberdeen as one of the ‘new breed’ of PSA vendors, offering complete end-to-end functionality. An independent report by them says the differentiator for AGRESSO Business World is the software's focus on information dissemination not just service process automation
