    .. maar even een apart draadje gemaakt, dit is toch wel een geinige junior. Kijk bijvoorbeeld eens naar deze creatieve deal: $ 60 mio raisen met pakketjes die oa betaan uit fysiek goud uit de in productie te brengen mijn.
    En natuurlijk de 9 plus 4 mio ounces resources...

    BLAINE, WA, Sept. 15 /CNW/ - Century Mining Corporation (CMM: TSX-V) ("Century" or the "Company") announces that it has signed an indicative non-binding term sheet with Kirkland Intertrade Corp. ("Kirkland") and Gravity Ltd. ("Gravity") for a C$20,000,000 private placement and the acquisition by Century of an interest in Etruscan Resources Inc. ("Etruscan"). Kirkland and Gravity (together, the "Investor") are controlled by Russian investor Maxim Finskiy and American investor Fran Scola, respectively, who have agreed to work with Century management to build the Company into a significant gold producer.

    The C$20 million private placement, when combined with the Company's previously announced US$25 million prepaid gold forward facility (see press release dated July 30, 2009), will provide the Company with the necessary capital to restart operations at the its Lamaque underground gold mine, located in Val d'Or Quebec.

    Following closing of the transactions, and including its previous share purchase, the Investor will own 167,986,707 common shares of Century (217,986,707 assuming exercise of its warrants) representing approximately 45.8% (52.3% assuming exercise of its warrants) of Century's issued and outstanding shares. Upon completion of all the transactions, Century will own approximately 16.6% of the outstanding shares of Etruscan (22.2% assuming exercise of all of its warrants).

    BLAINE, WASHINGTON--(Marketwire - Jan. 4, 2010) - Century Mining Corporation ("Century" or the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:CMM) is pleased to report that the previously announced debt and equity financings totaling CDN$60.75 million have all been completed. These funds will provide the necessary capital for the continued exploration, development and reopening of the Company's Lamaque project in Val d'Or, Quebec, enable repayment of the Company's previous debt, and provide the Company with substantial working capital. Included in the funding is a US$33 million prepaid gold forward facility with Deutsche Bank AG. Simultaneously, Century has completed a CDN$17 million private placement. Kirkland Intertrade Corp. ("Kirkland") subscribed for CDN$15.75 million of the private placement along with two other subscribers. The previously completed flow-through placements which have totaled CDN$9.1 million round out the Company's financing program. The initial ownership positions in the Company of Kirkland and its associate, Gravity Ltd., ("Gravity") came as a result of these earlier placements. All of the financings are summarized below.

    TEXT SIZE TORONTO (miningweekly.com) – After resolving its financial woes and bringing on a new large shareholder, TSX Venture Exchange-listed Century Mining is now fully funded and ready to get down to the business of growing gold production, CEO Margaret Kent said on Tuesday.

    The company is forecasting output of about 65 000 oz of gold this year from its mines in Canada and Peru, but targeting eventual production levels of around 300 000 oz/y to 500 000 oz/y, she said on a conference call.

    Century's current plans at its two mines would increase gold production to about 120 000 oz/y by 2012.

    Century: hm , die 65 mio komt natuurlijk niet uit de lucht vallen... de vergelijking met de MC gaat dus wat mank. Maar positief is het zeker...

    Bjorkdal, OK dit is nieuw voor mij, ik meen juist te begrijpen dat de resource base wat uitgebreid was, maar daar kan ik naast zitten....

    productie 2008 40.000 oz. verwachting 2009 was slecxhts 41.000 oz. hele magere verwachting. de mijn is ook al heel oud en de productie neemt al jaren af. ze MOETEN wel wat bijzoeken.

    heb deze een tijdje gevolgd en daarna afgevoerd, maaar heb er al maanden niet naar gekeken. weet ook niet of de verwachting over 2009 is uitgekomen of niet. is niks volgens mij. weinig muziek in deze luie kleine producer die m.i.over de top is.

    gewoon mijn twee nikkelen pennies, maar please prove me wrong!

    BLAINE, WASHINGTON--(Marketwire - 17 jan. 2010) - Century Mining Corporation ("Century" ou la "Société") (TSX CROISSANCE:CMM) est heureuse d'annoncer les résultats du forage de surface au diamant dans le filon Bédard de son projet aurifère Lamaque. Le programme de forage en cours est conçu pour vérifier l'étendue du filon de même que sa teneur. Au total, 21 trous de forage (10 765 pieds) sont prévus, mais seulement 13 (6 748 pieds) ont été complétés jusqu'à présent en raison de l'interruption du programme de forage. La Société revoit actuellement les soumissions pour compléter ce programme et prévoit commencer le forage des 8 trous restants (environ 4 000 pieds) au cours du premier trimestre de 2010.

    "Le filon Bédard continue d'afficher des possibilités d'exploration hautement prometteuses et les résultats sont véritablement emballants. Century envisage avec enthousiasme de poursuivre le développement des réserves et des ressources du projet aurifère Lamaque, où les réserves actuelles existantes mesurées et les ressources indiquées excèdent 2,4 millions d'onces d'or.     Century's wholly-owned subsidiaries own an 82.6% interest in the San Juan
    Mine, where the Company accounts for 100% of gold production. Total gold
    production for 2007 and 2008 was 63,124 and 14,252 ounces of gold,
    respectively.

    The nominal capacity of the San Juan mill and processing plant is 700 tonnes per day of ore. The plant, which was built in the early 1970s, has five small mills and Merrill Crowe zinc precipitation and CIP circuits. There are two milling and two flotation circuits. Free gold is recovered in jigs after milling. The CIP circuit recovers the gold remaining in the tailings from the primary mill circuit. A lack of capital and maintenance expenditures by the former owner allowed the plant to deteriorate into a state of disrepair such that the current production rate is approximately 120 tonnes per day. The mill has produced over 1.2 million ounces of gold in the last 35 years, an average annual production of approximately 34,000 ounces.

    The Company has shut down the small Avispa treatment plant that operated in conjunction with 17 quimbaletes using mercury amalgamation for recovering gold from selected ores of high gold content. The plant had a daily capacity of 30 tonnes of ore.

    The Company has commenced a rehabilitation program to return the processing plant to its nominal production capacity. This will allow the mill to process the increased tonnage of ore that will be mined as a result of new development and mechanization of the mine. The Company also has a program to buy ore from informal miners who have an agreement with the Company to mine various veins on the San Juan property and who mine veins not on Century’s property.

    As a result of the rehabilitation program the Company is projecting production of approximately 14,000 ounces of gold in 2007, increasing to 35,000 ounces in 2008 at an estimated cash cost of US$400 per ounce. New air compressors and generators have already been installed. Future plans include extending the local power line to the mine so that the operation is not reliant on diesel fuel for power generation.

    Zat deze al een tijdje te volgen en ben er een paar dagen geleden op 0,42 ingestapt. Doet het goed op dit moment; vandaag met +12,7% (koers nu 0,53) gestegen op grofweg 7x het gemiddeld volume .

    Bijgaand een linkje naar het Canadese BNN waar Victor Goncalves op 03:25 zeer positief spreekt over Century Mining.
