   Ordinary Shares
   At January 2004, there were some 4,434,759,050 Corus ordinary shares in issue. The ordinary shares are traded on the London and Amsterdam Stock exchanges.
   
   American Depositary Shares
   Corus ordinary shares are also listed on the New York Stock Exchange in the form of American Depositary Shares (ADSs), evidenced by American Depositary Receipts (ADRs) each representing ten ordinary shares. The Bank of New York is the ADR depositary. As at December 2003, there were some 22 million ADSs outstanding, representing approximately 5% of the total outstanding ordinary shares at that date.

   Convertible Bonds
   Holders of the convertible bonds are able to convert these into Corus ordinary shares.
   
   At the end of December 2002 a further 97 million Corus ordinary shares were available for issue on conversion of the NLG 345m 4.625% convertible bonds. In addition a further 234 million Corus ordinary shares are available for issue on conversion of the EUR 307m 3% convertible bonds.
