   Tele2 is als grootaandeelhouder van Versatel bezig met het samensmelten van de Nederlandse en Belgische activiteiten. De combinatie moet ontstaan doordat Versatel de Tele2-divisies koopt. De prijs moet echter nog worden vastgesteld en dat zal in het eerste kwartaal gebeuren.

   Versatel announces today that its minority shareholders Centaurus Capital Limited, Amber Capital LLP, Fursa Alternative Strategies UK Limited (previously named: Mellon HBV Alternative Strategies Limited) and Dorchester Asset Management LLP have filed a new request with the Enterprise Chamber (Ondernemingskamer) of the Court of Appeals in Amsterdam for a judicial investigation into the affairs of Versatel (enquêteverzoek). These shareholders have previously filed proceedings together with Arnhold & S. Bleichroeder Advisers LLC and Barclays Capital Securities Limited. On 8 December 2006, Versatel announced that the Enterprise Chamber had ruled that this previous request had been denied.
   
   A hearing has been scheduled for this coming Friday, 9 February 2007. At this hearing, the Enterprise Chamber will only deal with the petitioner's request for provisional measures. These provisional measures as requested are aimed at prohibiting Versatel to take or implement any resolution regarding the proposed acquisitions of Tele2 Netherlands B.V. and Tele2 Belgium N.V., as well as the proposed rights offering in order to fund the acquisitions, unless Tele2 AB, or a subsidiary, would grant Versatel's minority shareholders a put option in respect of the shares in Versatel they hold.

   RTRS-Nieuw enquêteverzoek Versatel
   AMSTERDAM (ANP) - Vier beleggingsfondsen hebben het telecom-
   en kabelbedrijf Versatel opnieuw voor de Ondernemingskamer van
   het gerechtshof in Amsterdam gedaagd. De
   minderheidsaandeelhouders vragen de rechter om een onderzoek
   naar mogelijk wanbeleid. Dit heeft Versatel dinsdag
   bekendgemaakt.
   
   De Ondernemingskamer wees in december vorig jaar nog een
   enquêteverzoek van de minderheidsaandeelhouders af. De
   beleggingsfondsen hebben al geruime tijd problemen met de
   overname van Versatel door het Zweedse telecombedrijf Tele2.

   Versatel-aandeelhouders opnieuw naar Ondernemingskamer6 feb 2007, 08:27 uur
   Amsterdam (BETTEN BEURSMEDIA NEWS) - Een groep minderheidsaandeelhouders in Versatel, aangevoerd door Centaurus, stapt opnieuw naar de Ondernemingskamer. De aandeelhouders vragen in hoger beroep een enquete aan naar eventueel wanbeleid in de periode dat het telecombedrijf een overnamebod accepteerde van het Zweedse Tele2.
   
   In december vorig jaar wees de Ondernemingskamer dit verzoek nog af. De nieuwe hoorzitting is gepland op vrijdag 9 februari.
   
   In een reactie op het besluit van de rechter in december stelden Versatel en Tele2 nog dat de voorgenomen overname gewoon doorgaat. Ze verwachten het proces in het eerste kwartaal van volgend jaar af te ronden. Details over het verloop van de transactie wilde een woordvoerster desgevraagd niet geven.
