Still think that the Covid-19 coronavirus is no big deal? Will hearing the letters ED associated with the virus then get you to stand up and pay more attention?
Not the name Ed as in Ed Sheeran. But the acronym ED as in erectile dysfunction. During an interview on NBCLX, Dena Grayson, MD, PhD, founder of MedExpert Consulting, a biotechnology consulting company, mentioned that ED could be a concern when it comes to Covid-19.
Not just momentary, “it was really cold in the swimming pool” or “ just watched some Bratwurst being made” ED, but potentially long term ED.
Here is what Grayson said: “We now know that people can have long term health effects from this virus, neurologic complications, and now, for men who are watching this — there is some real concern here that men could have long term issues of erectile dysfunction from this virus, because we know that it causes issues in the vasculature,”
Sure, Covid-19 can lead to lung problems, organ failure, death, and a host of other problems. But apparently that kind of stuff may not be enough to convince the people who still refuse to take proper precautions like social distancing and wearing masks while continuing to claim that the Covid-19 coronavirus is no big deal. What if then Covid-19 might affect some of their big deals and cause ED? Would that uh soften their stances? Some on social media wondered:
