   Een waarde van 1,1 miljard ( waarvan 350 mln cash) is blijkbaar een prima waardering. Zeker als je bekijkt dat Qualcomm, NXP, Microsoft, Stellantis en VW zo'n beetje over elkaar heenvallen om TT over te nemen.
   
   En dan heb ik het nog niet over de lijst met megadeals die we met de CES te verwerken krijgen. Staan met Kerstmis minimaal boven de 20 als ik van de berichten hier uitga.

   With the European Commission making Intelligent Speed Assistance (ISA) mandatory for all newly manufactured light vehicles starting in 2022, automakers are rapidly adapting to advance their entire vehicle line-up. We can expect more OEMs to incorporate TomTom ADAS Map Speed Limits to accommodate this and for improved NCAP safety ratings.
   
   Such legislative changes represent a significant development for mapmakers and automakers. TomTom has already taken steps to help automakers meet the upcoming regulations.
   
   ISA can use cameras to identify speed limits for ADAS through traffic sign recognition. However, cameras often struggle to recognize conditional and implicit speed limits. They can also experience poor visibility due to bad weather, poor road infrastructure or obstruction of the road ahead TomTom’s solution to these issues is to incorporate digital map data containing verified speed limit information into ADAS functions.
   
   Together with automotive industry partners, TomTom organized a virtual media event to share insights on how ADAS maps support ISA, along with information focused on the upcoming European ISA legislation.
   
   Our long-standing partner Bosc Softtec explained current projects?that contributed to the milestone 3 million automated vehicles using the TomTom ADAS Map. This included the leading Daimler Trucks Predictive Powertrain Control feature,?and?what’s next for the TomTom and Bosch partnership.
   
   PSA Groupe of Advanced Engineering, explained the current ADAS features of PSA and how they continue to collaborate with TomTom. This includes speed limits and traffic signs content from the ADAS Map to improve Traffic Sign Recognition and functionality similar to ISA.

   Qualcomm werd niet als partner genoemd in het IndiGO bericht van TT. Het is ook onduidelijk welke OEM’s Nvidia Drive met TT gebruiken.

    Majority of the brokerage houses have suggested investors to subscribe to the issue, thanks to its high growth potential, conservative valuations, robust client base and entry barrier to the business.
    
    "The company aims to develop and innovative its technological capabilities, with a broader stack of software products," the brokerage said while assigning a subscribe rating on the issue for the long term on the back of its high growth potential, increasing usage of new technology platforms by customers, minimal competition and valuation comfort.
    
    Meanwhile, Arihant Capital, which has a subscribe rating on the issue, said that at the upper range of price band, the issue is priced at a P/E multiple of 94x based on the FY21 EPS. The company has strong fundamentals and its profitability is expected to inch up going further, it added.
    
    "It is the market leader in the digital maps and geospatial software industry, effectively creating an entry barrier against potential competition. Its long standing relationships with high value clients not only generate repeat sales, but also encourage cross-selling and up-selling," it said.
    
    "There are no listed companies in India whose business is comparable with that of the company’s business. It is available at a reasonable valuation considering the future growth potential," it added. The brokerage has a subscribe rating on the issue.
    
    The company is one of the leading data and technology products and platform companies having a well-known brand with customers including PhonePe, Flipkart, Yulu, HDFC Bank, Airtel, Hyundai, MG Motor, Safexpress and others.
    
    There is scope of further up-selling or cross-selling while the maps and platform are constantly updated with validated feedback which can create network effect, noted Angel One.
    
    "Considering the company’s leadership position in India, client base and benefits of network effect, healthy margins and return profile as well strong cash conversion, we recommend subscribing to the issue from a long-term perspective," it said.

    Dat is ook logisch want Indigo is een software product dus partners zitten allemaal in de hoek van software
    
    - apps (harman, faurecia)
    - integratie Indigo met hun hardware (bosch)
    - cloud (microsoft)
    - film (cinemo)
    - voice (cerence, amazon)
    - climate control app (intellias)
    - Virtual reality (Art)
    - oplaadpunten inclusief betalen (Digital Charging Solutions GmbH),
    - cockpit design (rightware)
    - radio (iheartradio)
    
    Allemaal software dus, op Bosch na dat deze software in haar hardware cockpit integreert. Welke chips dat moet de Tier1 (Bosch) of autofabrikant zelf bepalen.

    HERE is alleen maps concurrent van tomtom, ze doen geen cockpit software en geen traffic, dat halen ze bij INRIX.
    
    En het is door Stellantis ontwikkeld door het FCA team dat TomTom supplier of the year benoemde.
