Contractors have been announced for a further 61 places on the £30bn Crown Commercial Service (CCS) Construction Framework.
In October the government’s central procurement arm awarded places to 128 suppliers across 31 of 38 sub-lots on the most valuable UK framework launched to date.
It has now awarded an extra 61 places on four additional sub-lots including the highest value lot in the framework announced so far which covers national construction works in excess of £80m.
The other three cover works valued between £3m-£10m for the North of England region, works for £10m-£30m in the South of England, and from £30m-£80m throughout England and Wales.
Interserve, ISG, Kier and Galliford Try have been awarded places on all four of the lots.
Balfour Beatty, Laing O'Rourke, Tarmac and McLaughlin & Harvey have won places on three of the lots.
There are three lots still to be awarded two which cover general construction on in the South of England for £3m-£10m projects and in the North of England for between £10m-£30m.
The remaining lot is for residential works in the South of England the value of which is not disclosed.
